We rent the Oransi Erik 650A MERV18 HEPA H14 Air Purifier at Stray Angel Films.

This high-grade air purifier is designed to eliminate common allergens including dust, pollen, pet dander, mold, odors, and chemicals. Multi-stage filtration is anchored by a 12-inch thick HEPA filter and carbon combination pre-filter for cleaning the air in spaces up to 1,700 square feet.

This Erik model air purifier has two filters – a 4” deep GAC activated carbon bed pre-filter and a 12” deep main HEPA filter. Effective for gases for smoke and gas leaks (methane gas, sulfur gases, and many others).

The Rosco Vapour Fog Machine combines high-volume, continuous fog output, with a simple, one-step cleaning process and common core components that are designed to be replaced quickly. Precise output control allows the Vapour the widest range of atmospheric effects and makes it versatile for use in almost any venue. Careful monitoring of temperature and pump speed results in both fine wisps of smoke or billowing, continuous clouds of fog.

There are two control options: a detachable timed remote offers convenient local control of output and operation, and an integrated DMX interface with XLR 5-pin connections allows for programmed fog effects via a lighting console, with the unit being easily addressable via the three-button control interface. An air-input/purge connection accepts 1/4″ tubing to allow compressed air to clean the unit. For maximum versatility, a Multi-Link feature allows a single Vapour Remote to control up to four Vapour, Vapour Plus, or V-Hazer units that are daisy-chained together via XLR 3-pin.

The Rosco V-Hazer Fog Machine utilizes internal baffles to maximize airflow, which generates greater output and thorough dispersion of fog particles to ensure a haze that spreads consistently and smoothly throughout the venue. In order to provide a silent performing space, the blower inside the V-Hazer turns off when not in use.

Fan and pump speed are synchronized to the output potentiometer and have been optimized to create an impressive haze effect when controlled via the detachable remote. Independent control of fan speed and pump volume is available via two channels of DMX, which allows the user to dial in their perfect balance of fast haze time and even distribution from their lighting console.

V-Hazer Fluid is available specifically for this machine. This water-based haze fluid achieves maximum hang time and optimal particle size without leaving behind dangerous and damaging residue common to oil or glycerin based hazers. The operating temperature, pump pressure, and output nozzle of the V-Hazer have been specifically designed and engineered to aerosolize Rosco V-Hazer Fluid. Do not use any fluids in the V-Hazer other than genuine Rosco V-Hazer Fluid, as they have not been tested for optimal performance and safety considerations. Doing so may damage the machine.
