The Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 is an ultra wide angle lens ideal for use on cropped sensors such as a Canon 7D or Blackmagic Cinema Camera. It should not be used on full-frame sensors like the 5D as there will be vignetting and distortion.

As part of the AT-X line, this lens is designed to provide excellent optical quality, and offers advanced features like the water repellent front element, its One-touch Focus Clutch Mechanism, that allows the photographer to switch between AF and MF simply by snapping the focus ring forward for AF and back toward the camera to focus manually (there is no second AF/MF switch on the lens for Canon, everything is accomplished by the focus ring), and a 9-bladed aperture. This is an excellent lens for short close up photography.
