A circular polarizer helps to cut glare and reflections. This allows deep natural colors to show through with vibrance. If shooting a landscape, your circular polarizer will make the blue sky richer and allow the white clouds to “pop”.

The end of a circular polarizer filter rotates continuously in either direction, allowing you to dial in just the right amount of effect. The changes will be noticeable in 90 degree rotation amounts, beyond which the effect reverses.
