ND filters are used to reduce exposure. Allows the use of larger apertures, reducing depth of field, to allow selective focus and rack focus.
Underexposes the image by about two stops and give it a blue overcast. This helps you make a scene shot during the day look like it was shot at night.
These soft grad ND filters are great for when you only want to drop the stop down on half the photo, such as landscape shots with with a blown out sky.
Pearlescent filters are used to soften and reduce sharpness. They also create a pearlescent halo around highlights.
Black Pro Mist creates a special “atmosphere” by softening excess sharpness and contrast. It also creates a pearlescent glow around highlights.
