The Canon 50mm F0. 95 is known as the “Dream Lens”. It was designed to replace the Canon 50mm F1. 2. It offers superior optics and a distinctive dreamy look. The Dream Lens was made back in 1960s and 1970s for the Canon 7/7s Rangefinder and it held the crown for the fastest production lens in the world at the time.

Whitepoint Optics first rehoused the Canon Dream lens with PL-mount in Los Angeles in October 2021. In order to work on PL cameras the lens needed a complete re-engineering. The lens is a piece of imaging history.
