Duclos Lenses is regarded as the premier high quality motion picture optics shop. They take premium cinema lenses and modify them as well as make repairs. Duclos also makes some of their own products, the newest of which is the Multi-Mount.

The Duclos Multi-Mount is a modification that allows you to easily attach and swap mounts on any lens. Here’s what Duclos had to say about it on their site:

“The system utilizes a standardized set of mount flanges including PL, Panavision, Nikon F and Canon EF, coupled with a custom sub-mount developed for each zoom lens. A truly simple yet elegant process that allows a single lens to be used across a wide range of cameras regardless of the mount required. “

This mount is pretty amazing and will be probably most useful to rental houses or shooters who own their own lenses but rent cameras on a per project basis. One of the hesitations some people had about purchasing Canon Cinema Lenses is that the mounts are not swappable. When investing so much in glass, it helps to be able to use it across multiple cameras. With this, you can swap between PL, Panavision, Nikon F, and Canon EF mount in seconds!

The Multi-Mount is currently only available for the Canon CN-E15.5-47mm T2.8 L SP Wide-Angle Cinema Zoom Lens with PL Mount and the Canon CN-E30-105mm T2.8 L SP Telephoto Cinema Zoom Lens with PL Mount. The mount is entirely non-destructive and can be reversed at any time.

Here is the pricing as listed on the Duclos Website:
“If you’re sending your lens in for the Multi-Mount modification which includes the Sub-Mount and one Mount Flange of choice, and Mount Cap, the cost is $1,900. Each additional Mount Flange is $400. If you would like to purchase the lenses directly from Duclos Lenses, the cost is reduced to $1,500 + the lens.

To recap pricing:
$1,900 – includes installation, sub-mount, flange of choice, and cap
$1,500 – plus cost of lens if purchased, installed from Duclos Lenses
$400 – additional flanges including PL, Panavision, Nikon F, Canon EF
