SAF’s Latest LAUSD Intern

A few times a year we offer a paid-internship through the LAUSD program. It’s not your standard at-a-desk or gopher internship, but instead a creative one. It usually mostly involves helping to create new videos your our YouTube channel. This is ideal because the interns are in control of the entire creative process, everything from scriptwriting, storyboarding, production, and editing.

Our latest intern, Samantha Crende, is a 17-year-old high school student from Granada Hills. The Los Angeles News recently ran a story on her internship with us. Samantha is quoted saying, “This would have been a very boring and wasted summer,” Crende said. “I’m really fortunate I was able to get this and be productive.”

We’re very happy to have Samantha as a part of our team this summer! Read more about her and her experience with us in the full Los Angeles Daily News article.
